Week 10 Predictions: A Fight for the Big 10 and the Commander and Chiefs Trophy

Some dedicated fans right there.
Some dedicated fans right there.

Coming off hot weeks Andrew and Tommy make some bold picks, and Logan is here too. Army has a big game at home with hopes for a commander and chief game against Navy at the end of the year if they can beat Air Force at home in West Point. can Kentucky's hopes of winning the east stay alive this week? probably not, but that won't stop us from picking against Georgia. Nebraska, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Ohio State are all looking to have big games this week to keep their dream of battling in the Big 10 championship alive. Finally Alabama stares down a rejuvenated LSU team on the road. Will LSU succeed in pulling a historic upset, or will the Tide Roll. Tune in to hear our thoughts.

Week 9 Recap: Who’s going bowling

for halloween we got some football treats.
for halloween we got some football treats.

This week the Toe Meets Leather crew talk about why the playoff system is biased towards 1 loss teams from the SEC. We also discuss where all the conferences stand, and how Kentucky could still end up in the SEC championship game in a rematch with Alabama. We also cover all the teams chasing bowl games, including Ole Miss and Oregon (who saw that coming). Finally Andrew has a GT player to talk about in his Fish Smithson report and Tommy tells us why Wins and Losses mean nothing in his Useless facts segment. The season only gets better (or worse depending on your team) from here everyone!

Week 8 Recap: Ohio State loses, and the ranking system is still screwed up

are-you-not-entertained
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?!

This week Tommy and Logan of the Toe Meets Leather crew discuss Ohio State's loss to Penn State and how it not only affects the race for positioning in the Big 10 but also the playoff positioning for teams. Also, is Wisconsin overrated? What has caused LSU's improvement on offense since Les Miles departure? And should alcohol be allowed at college football stadiums?

tune in for all this and more on the Toe Meets Leather podcast.

Week 8: 2 guys have a pick-nic

still undefeated boys
still undefeated boys

Sadly there is not a lot of big games in terms of playoff positioning this week, but there will still be some fun match ups.

Arkansas has to beat Auburn, because I refuse to believe that Auburn is a talented team. Wisconsin gets another game where it must prove itself, this time against a struggling Iowa. Boise and Western Michigan look to remain undefeated. Louisville tries to avoid another potential upset, this week facing down NC State. Finally... Is Logan seriously picking Texas A&M to win against Bama?

Tune in this week to find out.

Week 7 Recap: Can Bama Even Lose?

how do you stop them?
you can argue, but really are you planning to stop him?

This week on the Toe Meet's Leather Podcast... Bama is really really good and cannot be beaten.

In all seriousness we talk about the chaos that is the ACC right now, and every year really. Is it parity or is it something else that leads to all these potential upsets year in and year out. And if the ACC Coastal were in another conference would people feel differently about how the teams perform.

Wisconsin continues to fall just short in attempts to prove itself. It gets another big game this upcoming week against Iowa and the Badgers will need to win every game they play to win the Big 10 West.

And yes, we talk about the powerhouse that is Bama. Why are they so good? Can they be stopped? how would our casters gameplan against facing the unstoppable juggernaut that is the Crimson Tide?

All this and more this week on the Toe Meets Leather Podcast.

Hurricanes can't stop the Toe Meets Leather Crew! this week we talk about how Tennessee finally loses in one of the worst games Logan has ever seen. The ACC ignores a hurricane while the SEC runs in fear of it. Michigan runs up the score, and Rutgers pretends they don't want some cheap steaks. GT's ship is not longer just sinking, it is now also on fire. All this an more this week on the Toe Meets Leather Podcast.

Week 6 Predictions: Can Tennessee Keep the Magic Alive and is FSU Overrated?

we-suck-again
can't argue with that...

Big time Tennessee fan Mike Cadger joins us to discuss the matches coming up this week. We  discuss whether Tennessee can keep the magic alive on the road at Texas A&M.   Andrew has lost his faith in Army as they roll into Durham to face Duke. An old rivalry in Florida takes on a new level of excitement as the red hot Miami Hurricanes face off against the Seminoles of Florida State; and Mike tries to convince us of all the reasons FSU is over hyped. Logan continues to have his faith in GT challenged, will he pick them against Pitt this week? All this in more on our week 6 predictions.
