We predict some of the major games for week 2 of the college football season.
This week the Toe Meets Leather group recap the first week of college football. There were close games throughout the week, making things exciting. Ohio State struggled against Indiana early on in the week. Georgia Tech suffered a tough loss late in the week to a good Tennessee team. Of course we talk about Texas A&M's fall from grace in the second half of their game against UCLA.
This week TG has a mini breakdown as we cover two country albums, Rascal Flatts Back to Us and Zac Brwon Band Welcome Home. We also take some time to appreciate Tyler the Creator's album Flower Boy. While Dino struggles for words TG better articulates what makes Flower Boy such an impressive album.
Toe Meets Leather finally gets down and dirty with the week 1 kick off for 2017. Each caster gets a brief team talk discussing Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, Alabama, USC, and Navy. After summarizing what we are looking forward to from our personal teams this year we predict 20 of the week 1 games. Tune In and Get Hyped for Week 1 Kickoff!
We each highlight one of the forgotten 5 conferences outside of the power 5. We cover the MAC, C-USA, American Conference, WAC, The Sun Belt, and the Four Independent Football teams in College Football.
This week TG is sober but Dino may have had a bit too much to drink. We discuss Alestorm and what it means to be a Pirate Metal band. We also discuss Jay-Z's new album, and Adrenaline Mob's We The People.
This week on Toe Meets Leather... we may have lost our recording from last week. So we cover two conferences this week. We take an abbreviated period to discuss Big 12 prior (and all things Oklahoma) to our full discussion of the Big 10 (and all things Ohio). Take a listen.
This week TG and Dinowizerd discuss the pop sensation Despacito by Luis Fonzi, the album Healed by Metal by the German band Gravedigger, and The Allman Brothers live at the Fillmore. Take a listen.
In this Cast Andrew, Logan, and Artem discuss the upcoming SEC season. There are surprisingly few discussions of Alabama, but the recent coaching changes at Ole Miss are heavily discussed as well as Kentucky's chances as a dark horse in the East. We also discuss which coaches have their jobs riding on their performances this season.
This week Andrew and Logan totally didn't delete and have to record this audio twice. This was certainly the first time they talked about QBs being great in the PAC 12 and how Washington will look to dominate again this year. There is no way this wasn't the first time they discussed how Utah has one of the toughest road schedules in the NCAA and how it will line up USC to be the division champion in the south this year. What else did they discuss for the first time? tune in and find out.
